These aren’t really that underrated since a lot of people understand they’re important

But generally speaking guys mostly focus on the side delts, lats and upper chest as the most important muscles, maybe upper arms too ig, especially the biceps

I’d argue that these 3 are just as, if not more, important:

1. Traps / Neck
2. Forearms
3. Upper Back

Why? Because they’re always visible in clothing, and they create that strong, masculine, dimorphic phenotype. These areas will always stick out and make you look powerful.

A lot of people say that if you’re aesthetic, you shouldn’t train these much. That’s not true. If you only have a wide back and big side delts, you’re going to look weird and unbalanced. The round, 3D Delt look comes because of the rear delts, and a wide back looks incomplete and goofy without any definition lol. And you aren’t going to accidentally end up with massive traps or forearms if you train them a little lol.

Definitely train the aesthetic, V-Taper muscles but if you feel like your physique ever needs that fullness you’re prolly missing these 3

Traps without the frame / genetics look horrible.

Probably. I’m pretty wide and big so traps never looked goofy on me. If you have super narrow clavicles then I see can see why they might be a looksmin. That being said, I don’t think many people here are narrow, they’re just young and have undeveloped musculature

forearms are indeed very underrated though along with upper back started hitting back like 2 weeks ago noticed the biggest difffrence out of anything so far.

Traps = Upper Traps
Upper Back = Rear Delts, Lower Traps, Rhomboids, Spinal Erectors, etc
Very weird way to define them but sure

So you define the traps as only the smallest part of the trap and dont include the mid or lower traps (Btw, The part you see from the front is the middle trap and some back neck muscles)

Also how can the lower traps be apart of the upper back? And the spinal erectors are literally the lowest muscle in the back so how are they the upper back.
