Exactly my cousin last year was 180 today he is 186cm and he's only 15 her mother 175 with insane strong legs, dad is 170.

I have real life examples of what OP said. More times than not if a mother is tall the child will be tall. I’ve seen tall dad + short mom produce average height sons 5x more often than tall mom + average dad ( so basically equal heights)
