I am considering getting something like this (microstomia prevention appliance):
Improve mouth to nose ratio mine (1.09) (ideal approx 1.5)
I will have to wear it two hours a day inside my mouth for 3 mounths I’d say. Risk of nasolabial folds is minimal if you wear it properly and stretch the correct muscles
Importance of wide mouth:
Explained well by this https://www.quora.com/Is-there-any-way-to-make-my-mouth-wider
I can get one of my friends to 3d print this and I’ll pay him a tenner, the only other ones i have seen is 60 quid or you can go to a place that 3d prints stuff and get it for 30.

Interesting, my thoughts would be;
  1. Is it cope does it actually work after a long time?
  2. How do you prevent nose widening from this?

People who suffer from burns use the appliance to make their mouth wider I don’t see how your nose would widen considering this appliance only stretches orbicularis oris, buccinator and masticatory muscles (muscles around the lips and jaw). Its effects are designed to permanent. I have made a few mistakes above, you will need to use it for 6-12 mounths short periods of time (30 minute periods each time) and increase the time you use it for towards the end of the treatment plan where you start to wear it overnight. The one I provided is basic if you want the best results and a higher gaurentee of better results, I would seriously consider buying a dynamic widening appliance instead of a static. Tomorrow, I will write a thread and a guide on how to use this after doing more research, I will link studies and tag you. It is not a cope though, I guarantee that. The guides I was looking at did not show a treatment plan so I just guessed, I will have to research some more. Sorry for the mistake

👍. You’re more likely to harm yourself cutting lips. I will tag you as well

Yeah. But i saw Bojack do that no
It is the easiest cutting to do a lot safer than medial canthus. If you research properly you probably won’t fuck it up that badly. Yeah I don’t wanna take that risk tho and this could guarantee better results. I will do a high effort thread on this tomorrow. The botb threads on mouth widening aren’t that great so I will try do a better one and will tag you

Yeah. I read about the quoara dude and i just haven’t had the effort to do it bc of how ND it is and i cant rlly do it in public obv and i alr do enough gay shit in private to LM. But yeah this is my biggest falio so excited to see this

the biggest problem with this whole mouth widening appliance idea is that people are confusing temporary soft tissue stretching with actual structural change the forum has anecdotal claims of permanent widening but thats not the same as controlled evidence and even users report problems like cheek and nasolabial wrinkles after doing it the appliance is basically applying mechanical force to the corners of the mouth so even if u get some visible change that doesnt mean ur underlying facial structure has actually been remodeled and the claim that u can just progressively go from smaller to larger appliances is especially questionable because fit and tissue tolerance are individual if ur actual concern is a narrow smile or dental arch then an orthodontist is way more relevant than shoving a 3d printed appliance into ur mouth and hoping it permanently changes ur anatomy overall id treat the thread as an interesting experiment with weak evidence rather than a proven looksmax method and i definitely wouldnt copy the aggressive stretching methods just because some users claim they got a bigger mouth

I agree, I do believe it could have potential tho if done correctly and it is a good experiment to look at, I won’t say it is necessarily that aggressive tho

Do u think mouth cutting has any validity to it? Bojack did it and saw noticeable improvements. Or do u believe its rtr isn’t there
