Has anyone here had the mouth widening surgery if so what were ur results? and has anyone tried the mouth widening appliance long term?

The so-called mouth widening appliances will just give you naso folds. And a lateral commissuroplasty is typically for deformities, the scars are nasty and it wouldn't widen your mouth the way you'd hope it would.

There really is nothing. You could just tug on the corners of your mouth to temporarily widen it before pictures but otherwise there's no real permanent solution. I've heard of botox injections on your lip corners to relax them and make them slightly wider but again, the results are minimal and wouldn't fully widen the mouth.

I've heard of botox injections on your lip corners to relax them and make them slightly wider but again, the results are minimal and wouldn't fully widen the mouth.

The only solutions you will have are palate expansion or commisuroplasty that's it there isn't some secret method

I haven’t had the surgery, but I looked into it pretty deeply. From what I’ve seen, surgical widening only makes sense if there’s a real skeletal issue otherwise the results are modest.
