Holy fuck movies suck after 2020, 2020 oscars had literally one of the best movies of all time competing against eachother and now we have some unknown will smith tennis garbage movie(compared to any oscar nominated movie pre 2020.
I mean oppenheimer is a good movie but they treated it like the greatest movie of all time because the competition sucked completely.
Movies have made a slight comeback in 2025 compared to the last 4.

Iron claw, the Batman, dune part 2, Oppenheimer, tenet, killers of the flower moon, all quiet on the western front, triangel of sadness, the Northman, I could go on for hours, of course their are better eras for movies but there is still some bangers here and there
