I had some asymmetric expansion with SARPE
I think this is an overlooked flaw of expansion
Whichever side puts up more resistance is gonna expand less, the chances of both sides putting up equal resistance is quite low I'd imagine

it does but it unintentionally does cause asymmetries
I got my JSE for free it's a prototype from my personal doctor

can we get more info on this? I mean it just kinda proves what the not low iq ppl say for years that mse isnt that great for aesthetics.

I don’t really have time at the moment. But all I can say is MSE is one of the biggest copes of the 21st century. I can share an interesting story though. Essentially, I am very good friends with an orthodontist who provides MSE and one time I invited him to the original SurgeryMax discord because I was somewhat irritated at all the coping and he completely debunked the idea of MSE for aesthetic purposes and instead of them being thankful that a legitimate provider was able to answer all their inquiries they started seething and kicked both me and the orthodontist out.

Well i was a marpe but with mse screws patient, at 14 years old, some could argue that should have the same amount of bone etc benefits could be achieved as MSE at adulthood, i literally didnt become better looking all it did is what it did to that guy but to a lesser extent.

i would like to hear these stories though, i know a guy who got attacked for telling the truth @scalpel and he was an ortho aswell.
