If someone already has adequate forward growth then its unnecessary

Normal braces help mse widen the upper palate. Damon combines this with a low friction self ligating system. It basically allows for more passive tooth movement and is more comfortable for patients but there would be absolutely zero difference in the expansion outcome.

I dont think MSE and braces have anything to do with forward growth, its mostly about maxillary expansion
