So im getting palate expander from my ortho in about 10 days and was curious on how it changes your face and does it have a chance to descend me? I have a 90% overbite but my chin projection is close to perfect. I have a class I bite. Im paying 6k out of pocket

It should not descend you. After that you maybe will have to wear braces, depending on how your mouth looks like by then. We don´t have the expertise to really validate that to be honest, you just gotta know how it looks once done.

Yeah I know I was quoting the ortho, but I appreciate the reply. They claimed that I didnt need any surgical adjustments but im 18 so im just confused as to how MSE will work.

Well, I could explain it to you, but it would of course take some time. You may wanna read a guide in the internet or just ask ChatGPT with more detailed infos to your case. I don´t understand how they say you don´t need it when the upperarch is narrow because that should not be the case.
