mse vs sarpe hyrax with small cut

Same price, my doctor has experience with both methods. He offered me SARPE with a small cut. No general anesthesia, just topical – it’s easy to do. He doesn’t like MSE much because soft tissue might grow over the appliance and affect healing. He says, “it’s the same thing, but SARPE with a small cut gives better results.” I don’t know, what do you think?

My maxilla isn’t that narrow. I went to 4 orthodontists and 3 of them didn’t want to do MSE or bimax. But this doctor is very competent and understands my point of view. the doc is bp asf

@NegativeNorwood my ortho never talk me about bone grafting or custom expenders.

this is his plan
take out regular braces ( my old ortho was use them )
start damon braces
start small cut sarpe ( hyrax expander )

and bimax
