Doesn’t MSE (palate expander) at 21 and more make your mandible look smaller and create a deep bite?

I will use sarpe if needed,didn’t check my case might be only inward tipping.My mother is planning on taking me to Maxillofacial surgeon for diagnosis for the bones and then orthodontist to check the problems and start treatment

you should not start MSE if your lower jaw is undeveloped unless you are following up with another appliance that is targeted for the lower jaw like twin blocks or MARA, this is because you will have something commonly called the balloon face which is talked about amongst MSE patients because their upper jaw (maxilla) is too developed for their mandible to catch up
