The difference is just the way it binds to your receptors, mt1 hits peak concentrations at a slower rate with the longer half life so it feels smoother.

I personally don't give a shit, and pin mt2 which makes me feel slightly nauseous for a minute then hard for 5 hours which is why I pin at night. Makes sex feel better too

Mt2 doesn't give you new moles, it can only darken existing ones.

No.

Mt2 has absolutely zero growth factors, it literally cannot grow cells. People claiming they had moles appear already had them, they just got darker.

MT1 and MT2 both stimulate melanogenesis via the mc1r, but MT1 is more selective while MT2 hits other receptors too (mc3r, mc4r, mc5r) which means MT1 carries less melanoma risk because it doesnt have off target activation.

MT1 has also real clinical data showing high dose human use whereas MT2 lacks proper studies or approvals, so its effects and risks are less predictable, despite delivering faster results.

That’s why for tanning, MT1 is generally the better and cleaner choice.
