MT2 + tanning — worth continuing or get skin check first?

I’m a bit conflicted and wanted some input from people who’ve actually run MT2.

I’ve been taking MT-2 at around 100–200 mcg before bed for about a week now. I also started tanning about 4 days before starting it, doing ~45–60 mins daily with SPF 55, plus red light after for 20 min.

Here’s where I’m hesitant, I’ve had a lot of sunburns growing up (probably 30+), including one really bad one at 16 that caused some scarring/freckling on my shoulders. I’m 26 now.

I already took baseline photos of all my moles/marks so I can track changes, but I’m wondering:

Would you pause and get a professional skin check before continuing MT2? Or am I overthinking it and just need to give it more time to kick in?

Also curious:
  • How long did it take you to actually see results from MT2?
  • Did anyone with a lot of past sun exposure run into issues?
