Jfl everyone fears death jfl because survival is literal an instinctual trait in literally every single animal species on the planet. Death provides uncertainty. Is there really some kind of afterlife when we take our last breath and close our eyes, or is it just nothing but an unaware eternal nothingness void, with only our meatbag of a body being left behind. I'd imagine when it comes to ted bundy, he must've had a culturally christian upbringing so he was aware of the idea of an abrahamic afterlife, whether he actually believed in it or not.

In his last moments he was feeling: scared because fear of death is instinctual in all humans, plus also scared because he knew it was fucked for him regardless if both post death scenarios were true. 1.) His life was about to be cut short (he was 42 when he died) and he was about to enter the unaware eternal nothingness void. 2.) If the abrahamic afterlife is true, then he is definitely going to hell.

100% true our only purpose is to reproduce and stay ALIVE... Everyone fears death to some degree. I don't fear death in the sense like oh shit I'm going to hell (none of that shit exists when u dead u dead man consciousness is lost) but I fear death in the sense that I'm living and I want to continue until it's the end of the line and ill try to make the end of the line as far away as possible. Psychopaths are usually narcissists meaning they would fear death even more then the average person. I believe a schizophrenic person could have zero fear of death but that's the only exception.

Clinically speaking I don't think "sociopaths" or "psychopaths" are separately diagnosable conditions any longer. Narcissism, sociopathy and psychopathy are broadly characterised under the umbrella of anti-social personality disorder. Also, from my understanding psychopathy and sociopathy were considered the same disorder, with different causes. Psychopathy is genetic, while sociopathy is caused by the environment (e.g. a traumatic upbringing). The favela and cartel rats trained to brutally kill one another are good examples of sociopathy. Pure psychopathy is a case of fucked up brain wiring, for example, underdevelopment of the amygdala responsible for processing emotions and fear.

I think they can diagnose the comorbidity of strong "psychopathic tendencies" but it's very rare. For example, it was found that 25% of prisoners met the criteria for anti-social personality disorder but less than 1% scored highly on the psychopathy checklist.

On the subject of Ted Bundy, he was not a "psychopath" by the textbook definition. The intent of his killings were under the guise of "sexual sadism". To feel the pain of others and get sexual gratification out of it requires empathy. I remember watching his Netflix documentary and he seemed like a textbook case of malignant narcissism.

Now on the subject of the OP, every sane human has the instinct for self-preservation (both normal and individuals incapable of empathy). How a "psychopath" would process the idea of dying probably differs much to the normal person. They likely wouldn't be crying or feel "fear" the same way we would, but they certainly wouldn't be fond of the idea of death.
