Bones must be forward grown to stretch the skin and soft tissues to prevent a double chin. U need both fwrd growth and good submental to have an aesthetic side. Having fwrd growth and bad submental doesn't change the projection of the bones themselves. His problem is lack of fwrd growth not submental. U can clearly see he is lacking in fwrd growth in a few areas

Listen to a millennial with some life-experience

Every single model photograph you see out there on the net, unless obviously taken by a selfie camera on a phone, is taken by the highest professional camera equipment AND THEN it is edited. It is so stupid to see that you guys even compare these high spec camera photos that are then edited to your retarded selfies on your plastic androids you got shopped from China


This is a capture taken from a movie. Meaning they used the high spec camera equipment to shoot the movie, naturally, but didn't edit his face. So this is closer to what he looks like. Though I imagine the camera may be accentuating the submental fat he does have, PLUS he is doing the chin tuck here and PLUS he is early to mid 30s where fat stores more easily, unless you giga microneedle or get buccal removal

No but it can create the illusion of a less forward grown and less defined jawline

Sure, if you have a super forward grown model face with great bone-density on your mandible, you are gonna override the factors of some submental fat, but only to an extent. Plus where your hyoid bone positions is also a massive player
