No one cares if you got hit by a bus when you were an infant child
Actually they do, it’s called feigned empathy and that’s reserved for attractive females and children.
You don’t have that luxury as the modern man, nobody is there to weep crocodile tears for you to make you feel better. Your purpose is to endure and to keep on enduring, being proud of the fact that you made it all on your own. There is no one who will be there for you and give you a pat on the back whenever you trace back to the most dreadful times of your life and feel like you need to cry. It is your pride as a man that you do not relinquish your manlihood by stooping to the level of women and children. You are the backbone of society, so you are expected to act like one.
A part of me feels envious at women with how comfortable they are at expressing emotional distress; practicing their privilege.
The first step into manhood is shouldering responsibility.
