No. They had a blast flying new airplanes, adrenaline sky high while having a dogfight with their british and american counterparts who had equally much fun. When they got you, sure you probably burned alive or lost a limb or so, but that fear of fucking up was the reason why a victory felt even greater. I think men need to experience these things in order to not become weak, its not soy or estrogen in the water, its probably the fact that we havent had a war in a long time and a lot of us would benefit greatly from it.
