So bear in mind that she has had very few interactions with white people, and mostly with other pakis. She grew up in a strict islamic household, not allowed to go outside, etc.

So I asked her why the white preference, so she begins to list all the pros of white people e.g. taller, not abusive, etc. And the cons of pakis/brown people. And so then I asked her. "List the cons of white people"

She was unable to.

Now one must ask this. Where does someone who has very few interactions with white people, get their idea of white people from? The answer:- the media. She got jewed by the media so hard that she truly wasn't able to label any cons of white men. Only positives - DESPITE HAVING NO INTERACTIONS WITH THEM.

If this doesn't illustrate the power of media halo, I'm not sure what will. As a white person, ethnics do not look at you as people - esp ethnic women. They look at you through an idealised lens they created which has been influenced by the media. JFL some of the things she said about white men made me kek.

She claimed white men weren't racist (who is going to tell her how white men treat black women?), white men were caring and polite (has she ever met a primal white male in a pub?). This is truly the power of media halo.
