Dumbest nigga you know has said this shit :feelsuhh:. Yes there are outliers like famous sports players or youtubers getting 2.0 gpas and shit but they are OUTLIERS. If you’re failing all your classes in highschool you can’t just pull a 1 in 100,000 person out of your ass and say it’s okay. You’re just a fucking idiot :lul:.I hate when people make that excuse.

Chances are you’re most likely not gonna be famous, so why not try in school to help get the best opportunities possible? You don’t even have to try your best, I don’t. I have a high 3 gpa not even trying and i’m comfortable with it. As long as you’re trying a little and you’re in the 3s you’re fine. Try to get to college if you can afford it.

Now, if you’re not going to college… Good luck. I’m going and i’m not paying for mine so obviously it’s optimal. Fuck i’d be scared to go straight into life after hs though. College is literally just another 4 years for you to be a kid and not have to worry about real shit.

Cope. The "nerds win in the end" revenge fantasy is bullshit. For every Sundar Pichai or Mark Zuckerberg or whatever genius ethnik/Joo that makes it big, there's a 1000+ corporate cucks working under a dumber manager/owner who does a fraction of the actual work

how? i don't really care about making money, I just want to live a decent carefree life before dying young

but even if you do care, how is entering the workforce straight out of hs beneficial in any way? chances are the job you'll get is minimum wage and it'll take a while to get anything better

Yeah but the people who didn’t end up going to college usually get a low paying 9/5. The people who got degrees in finance/lawyer/doctor/engineering actually got high paying jobs :lul:

I’m not saying everyone that goes to college is gonna be mark zuckerberg i’m saying they have better opportunities which is objectively true

Also manager/owner being dumb is just a stereotype brah, and even then they probably got that high ranking position by making connections with someone important in college

I mean sure, but that's a big distinction from "just go to college bro".

Also you have to factor in the extra years of schooling for med/law school, plus the shit ton of student loans that you have to pay back. This is all assuming that you have the smarts to even make it that far, which not everyone (even the more academically gifted people) necessarily do

Well I did say if you can’t afford it then obviously that’s a big consideration to take in. My parents are paying all of it so why wouldn’t I go? Or even if they helped you pay for a good portion of it why wouldn’t you go?

Even if you don’t make it in those careers at least you had the opportunity to.

Not to mention college is literally peak in terms of having fun.

Probably because you could use that extra money to invest in something else. Like stocks, your business, down payment on a house, even surgeries jfl. I wish I done that instead of waste 10k on some useless school bs, but my parents wouldn't let me :FeelsStrongMan:

Maybe if you're NT + part of a frat or sports team or sumshit. Otherwise it's overrated

How is it possible to fail classes in HS? Genuinely curious....AP classes....MAYBE....but normal, advanced and honors classes required minimal to no studying back in 2010

so why're you judging people who do want to go to college, I feel you honestly I don't care either but the people who do care about their future have a better chance going to college

tbh dying at 26 young and happy would be enough for me

smart or cool and ideally both. you can make a lot of good connections and be wayyy underqualified and still get a good job because you knew somebody.
