A 40 year old illiterate shepherd invents over 600 pages of grammatically perfect literature doesn't make a lot of sense. Add to that the hundreds of stories that accurately match what's written in the Bible and the Torah and you soon realize that the sources was the same, which is God. He was a prophet and not a phony.

Christians who call him a phony seem to ignore that Islam requires belief in Jesus and to follow him in his second coming or you would be considered a traitor and the Islamic court can cut your subhuman head off.
