So guys now we will make a review of multi-word verbs.
Multi-word verbs are a combination of lexical verbs plus a particle to create a new meaning. This particle may be a preposition or an adverb.
So we have four main categories of multi word verbs
1. Intransitive Phrasal Verbs
These verbs are made up of verb plus and adverb. They are inseparable. You can't place an object or any word between verb and particle. The stress when we pronounce these verbs falls in the particle.
The plane for SEA took off early
He grew up in a white country while being curry, so he is a locationcel
The car broke down in the middle of the street and stacy took care of him because he was a chad
2 Transitive Phrasal Verbs
They consist of a verb plus an adverb plis an object o verb plus an object plus an adverb. They are separable. Therefore, you can place the object between the verb and the adverb. The stress pattern is going to depend on whether we use a pronoun or a noun. If the object is a noun, then the stress is going to fall on it. When we use a pronoun, the stress falls in the adverb. Pronouns are always place in between.

3 Prepositional Verbs type 1
They consist of a verb plus a preposition plus an object. They are inseparable, the preposition is always situated next to the verb. We never stress the preposition.

4 Prepositional Verbs Type 2
They consist of a verb plus an object plus a preposition plus a prepositional object.
They are separable, of course.

5 Phrasal Preppsitional Verbs Type 1. These are the chads. They combine a verb plus an adverb plus a preposition plus a prepositional object
