multiple surgery consultations

So Alfaro is the GOAT when it comes to bimax. Thoughts on getting a consultation with him and asking what movements he'd do then asking some other (still decent) jaw surgeon to do these movements for a lower cost. All of the good jaw surgeons are aware of alfaro anyway so might at least entertain the idea.
or is this a good way to get fucked up.

Depends on your occlusion. If you're a downward grown CCW patient who needs aggressive advancement and rotation, then Alfaro is the best since he is an expert with those cases. But if you're class 1/3 and don't need much CCW or mega advancements, then it's not worth it to pay $35k+ out of pocket when you can get the same thing for much cheaper (or free with insurance).

class 2, short face syndrome with a very deep mentolabial fold. need genio too. My lower third looks a lot better when I jut my lower incisors infront of my upper incisors, but this hurts sometimes

Probably don't need to see Alfaro then. Good maxfacs all do this. You only need to see blackpilled surgeons if you have normal occlusion and/or need CCW with large advancements.
