Misconceptions of Cosmetic Surgery (bone)

From my account of what i've seen on different socials over the past years, the ROI is hard-tissue surgeries is extremely minimal in c.80% of cases. If im basing my argument on the collective majority of people who get high risk facial osteotomies, many of them would likely be HLTN and lower and most likely <6ft , and this is where i see the problem of people pushing for these types of people to get high risk procedures that only fix one decomposed problem. In my opinion its like putting all your points into one skill tree in a game. Its obviously retarded right? Your spending minimum $9000 to improve a singular metric of your SMV by an almost negligible amount. Majority of people are better off investing on improving their all-around soft tissue, getting fat grafts or hopping on gear if they are framelets. All these things are achievable with less than $1000 and provide existential amounts of ROI as compared to a mediocre BSSO that will barely change your overall "rating" (normie wise and PSL-scale wise).




I would like to gather some more opinions on this matter from people with first hand accounts of different facial osteotomy procedures, or implant procedures.
