Thinking about taking Reta soon although I would say I am very gym focused. I lift 6 times a week. Has anyone experienced severe muscle mass loss on RETA? If so, are there ways to prevent this? I am open to counteracting this with other peps and supplements.

thx:p:p

You don't lose muscle from Reta but from being in a deficit for a long period of time/an aggressive cut.

pretty hard to lose muscle and often times not enough to be a big change, people mistake muscle loss with fat loss around there muscles.

i would just focus on getting adequate protein and continuing to stimulate the muscle, thats about it

so js keep consistent in the gym?

some muscle will be lost with reta but if you have a good diet the proportion of muscle loss to fat loss should be favorable

i try to keep a pretty carnivore based diet, but also eat carbohydrates in the form of fruit and honey

If your strength is mostly holding and you’re still eating enough protein, that’s a pretty good sign you’re preserving muscle.

Also keep in mind “lean mass loss” on DEXA/InBody isn’t the same thing as pure muscle loss. Glycogen and water drop too, especially when calories/carbs come down.
