ive been training for around 2 years off and on now (only started taking it seriously in the last 5-6 months) and have barley gained any muscle. im 16, and i eat somewhat healthy and not alot of over processed bs, but i just cant seem to gain any muscle. do i just have to wait for puberty to kick in or am i doing something wrong?

You would've hit puberty by now so it wouldn't be that.

What workouts do you do in a session (with sets and reps) and how many times do you workout a week?

You also might not have a great form but that wouldn't be the main main problem for not gaining muscle, would be apart of it though.

Also do you eat enough protein in a day? If your not you need atleast 2g of protein per lbs of body weight.

Lmk

the split is:
monday-push
tuesday-pull
wednesday-legs
thursday-rest
friday-upper
saturday-legs
sunday-rest then repeat.
I feel like my form is not horrible, but i do have some room for improvement. right now, im probably getting around .7-1 gram of protein per lb of bw. I need to start tracking my meals and doing meal prep instead of eating school goy. once i do that, i feel like i could start getting closer to 2g per lb.

I mean it doesn't look too bad, the biggest thing holding you back is most likely just not getting enough protein for your body to actually build muscle.

When you start tracking your meals and protein intake also look up the do's and dont's for the exercises your doing (form). Like you said you feel there's room for improvement so i think that should help you.

Also for school meals it could be anything tbh. If your not too bothered about food affecting how you look or your more focused on gym, simple meals like chicken and pasta, beef and sweet potato and salmon and rice are gonna be your best friends.

Hope this helps and if you remember, check back in with me in a few months and let me know how it's going :)
