Music pill: Having a good or even great voice is not enough to make it

I have developed a strong charismatic singing voice and I have decent songs but it's not enough to make it. If you aren't marketable you can't make it and you have to have connections and once you're over 30 it's pretty much over unless you are discovered as an oddity on one of those reality tv shows. The music today is not real music anymore, it's noise. There are no love songs anymore and the human voice is being replaced by autotune and monkey rap beats.
