Hope you find the path
Also, I'm not a full atheist. I'm more of a deist. I just think some parts of Islam are full of shit & bad for civilizational progress. (I still do kind of believe there some forms of higher beings though).

Like praying 5x a day, wearing wearing black burkas head to toe, etc. There's more as well, I just can't think of it right now.

Man since when did you become a deist? Like did it happen on this forum? Did somebody persuade you here?

I was an Agnostic/Deist even before I joined this forum. I left Islam in 2018 (around 3 years ago).

What was the most compelling argument for you to leave?

I left out of doubt.
That's it? Man i sincerly hope you return. İf what you get in return isn't better then what you doubt on then is not worth the effort.

Last question. Do you have doubt against your doubt? For it's reasonable to have them?

I don;t know if I will ever return (since I'm surrounded by Muslims). I'm just going to stay Agnostic/Deist as of now. I don't doubt my doubts either, I am convinced in them. It's reasonable to have them. Btw, are you Muslim or agnostic? & do you live in the West.

İ am a Muslim from Turkey.

He was religious tho. He followed the Hanif creed. Deizm is accepting God but rejecting divine intervention. There is no prophet who have ever been of this believe. They where theists. This means accepting God and divine intervention.

Should also be sensible to doubt your doubts. İf you doubt about an answer second thing you do is doubting if your doubt is reasonable. You gave 5 times a prayer as an example but i can't see why remembering your creator is meaningless? This is the whole reason of İslam. You may think or argue that it's bad for 'civilization' however our whole civilization is based upon remember God. So hope you atleast understand that this doesn't come as a strong argument.

İt was a pre islamic creed of tawhid.

Ḥanīf (Arabic: حنيف‎, ḥanīf; plural: حنفاء, ḥunafā’), meaning “renunciate”, refers to one who, according to Islamic belief, maintained the pure monotheism of the patriarch Abraham. More specifically, in Islamic thought, renunciates were the people who, during the pre-Islamic period or Jahiliyyah, were seen to have renounced idolatry and retained some or all of the tenets of the religion of Abraham (إبراهيم, Ibrāhīm), which was submission to God in its purest form. The word is found twelve times in the Quran (ten times in its singular form and twice in the plural form) and Islamic tradition tells of a number of individuals who were ḥunafā’. According to Muslim tradition, Muhammad himself was a ḥanīf and a descendant of Ishmael, son of Abraham.

would it be fair to say your not too fussed on whether a creator exists or some other reason?

well tbh burqas arent necessary and what is your issue with the praying part
is it the praying or doing it 5 times a day

Wallahi I remember a voice teaching me a surah in a dream and when I woke up I knew it from memory

Because of that i never lost my faith
