Isn't it more likely that treating Muslims poorly would push peaceful individuals toward defensiveness or radicalization, creating a feedback loop of hostility, rather than leading to the political outcomes you envision?

Islam can’t be tolerated in the West. It’s incompatible. The only silver lining is here in the US they’re small in numbers and hold little political power and Trump is gonna ban them when he gets back in office.
Europe's done with or without Islam, and even with a blanket ban (which likely won't happen), the U.S. won't risk alienating trade partners and pushing them toward China.
Trump already banned travel from Muslim countries before.

That's possible, but at this point, there are millions of Muslims outside of 'Muslim' countries so there's enough of them to fill up any quotas anyway. I don't think the U.S. was ever at risk of a Muslim takeover, the amounts entering are just too little. It's not like the latinos where they're coming by the millions yearly.
