My wife and I have been married for a little over a year and have been thinking about having kids for some time now.
However recently, my wife brought it to my attention that I am not conventionally attractive by her standards at least. This is when she starts mentioning artificial insemination and sperm donors all the time.
Her argument became that she did not want our children to be small, weak, unattractive people like me when they grew up.
I fought her on the subject at first, but am thinking I might just cave in. She had not said anything like this to me when we were dating.
How would you handle it if your partner sprung this idea on you out of the blue? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
