My earliest known ancestors were Buddhists too! Before that, they were likely Zoroastrians but I can’t say for certain. My later ancestors, from the 10th century onwards, must have converted to Hinduism at some point and then some centuries later, between the 14th and 18th century, they must have reverted to Islam.
