This epistemological issue is unusual in the way that in this particular case "your truth," conclusions based on personal experience, is what the vast majority of people believe, while "the truth," actual facts backed by science and data, remain hidden from the mainstream and are seldom discussed outside the dark corners of the Internet inhabited by celibate, basement-dwelling men.
