So I was born with a bald spot. I've actually had two transplants, but I knocked one and the density isn't great

First two pics are me after spreading the hair, the third is just taken of my hair how it was

It's definitely noticeable, especially when buzzed, but it's not something I feel like I have to hide anymore. It was brutal as a kid/teen having to cover it up (completely bald). I don't think another transplant is worth it for me

No one gives a fuck about the back, the front looks good and you have density.

Back is important too
Which is why thinning crown is bad

Not as bad as the front, it seems to have been engraved in your brain since you were a child unfortunately.

I wish that you would just stop caring but highly doubt you will

We have similar hair colors. Mine is dark blond but a minority of people identify it as ginger. It just has a slight ruddy tint to it.

Mine isn't a cowlick. I have that behind it. The only thing is that potentially it could look like one

Anyway, I never said it was AGA. I said it was a congenital bald spot

What did your hair transplant surgeons say about the bald area? Did they think it was AGA?

If not, what was the diagnosis?

No
I had the transplants at 17 and 18 and told them what it was

Interesting, usually they do a full hair evaluation first.

Could be some kind of autoimmune condition if you really had it as a kid.

It was from birth, on the same spot. It's just a spot that never grew hair. I had two NHS operations to make it smaller (first also medical apparently), but the second one didn't really do anything

It wasn't hair loss

There’s a condition called alopecia areata that can create bald spots. The immune system starts attacking hair follicles, mistaking them as foreign bodies.

Usually fully recoverable with corticosteroids. I’m not trying to diagnose, just saying that it can happen.

Your hair density everywhere else looks excellent.

Bruh that's not what it was
Here, a pic as a kid with the same spot

You don't need to try and diagnose, as it's not anything like that

Did the UK tax payers foot the bill for a cosmetic surgery? What a joke of a country.
No wonder you’re going bankrupt.

You are judging from a pic from far away and nothing else, as someone with 0 knowledge of my life. How retarded can you be?

Does this look like a cowlick to you? The first NHS op was to remove the bare skin (from a golf ball sized bald spot) for risks of skin cancer or something

You gotta be trolling tbh

You posted the picture as proof. Maybe you should ask yourself that question.

I don't know, you shave the surrounding area before a transplant so impossible to judge here.

So the taxpayer footed the bill for at least at least one hair transplant operation. Should have to pay out of pocket.

Maybe read the thread, dumbass
I had two NHS operations to remove skin, before I had two private transplants. Holy fuck at your arrogance talking when you're completely clueless. Get a life. Awaiting your response then you're going on my ignore list (for people who are either idiotic or retarded)

You never said they were privately done on this thread. You said “It was from birth, on the same spot.....I had two NHS operations to make it smaller”. Your words not mine.
Get a life.
Don't worry, I'm not a guy in my 30s on zero hours contracts, I'm okay. Worry about yourself.

I said the op was to remove skin, medical, and to make it smaller. How does any of that sound like a HT?

Wrong again, I'm 22. Don't bother replying as I won't see the notification

You'll eventually read this when someone else replies to your thread.

You said to me: "It was from birth, on the same spot. It's just a spot that never grew hair. I had two NHS operations to make it smaller".

Not unreasonable to think making a bald spot smaller = hair transplantation.

The fact you gave an inaccurate backstory is your fault - not mine.

Okay. That's fine then.

Buzzes didn't look great, but felt great. But I think crew cut is a good middle ground where it's still low maintenance, areas of low density aren't as obvious, and it looks decent

Yeah I'm on fin. Tbh one of my temples has shorter, finer hairs, but I compared photos to 2.5 years ago and it looks the same
