My mother's aunt was the wife of the previous owner of the Cecil Hotel during Richard Ramirez's active years. He came into the hotel once, and as a Hotel worker, my aunt conversed with Richard, and she said that he was nice. Whether or not he was actually a nice person to talk to or his face gave him a halo is still unknown, but it's a funny thing to think about.
