I'm thankful I at least had a mostly decent father in my life. He wasn't perfect, but he also wasn't a cuck and didn't just blindly agree or jump to whatever his wife (my mom) said. Plus him and me did a lot of stuff together that someone raised only by women would never get to do, and I'm grateful for that.

Him and me would solve a lot of problems together and when I was a young teen we spent some of the summer building a garage foundation ourselves to cut costs and that summer was coincidentally a very rainy one so we had to work on digging the post holes in the poiring rain to get anything done and before we could even work we had to bail water out of the holes. But we kept on it and built the foundation by the end of summer and then the garage was built on top of it. Garage is still standing all these years later. Someone raised by women would have just been a quitter and not wanted to even try. He also taught me how to fix lots of small machinery like riding mowers, weed whackers, chainsaws, etc. I've fixed so many things and got them working perfectly that most people would have just thrown away and wasted money replacing and it's all thanks to him. A good father is important for proper psychological development and to teach you to be realistic about life
