For someone who makes a living out of a computer. I am awfully slow at typing. I have tried lots of things but I just cannot improve my typing speedI have ogre hands. Short stubby sausage fingers but with a large palm and hands so it's quite hard for me to type on the keyboards of these days that all cramp the keys with no space in between
On top of all this I've also used scissor switches all my life so that satisfying crisp click at the end is very important for meI am so used to it. That I often do stuff on my laptop. Even while being like 10 meters away from my workstation that is 10x more powerful with comfy chair because it has some cheapo free keyboard that came with it. I even bought a expensive Mechanical keyboard a while back. I don't remember the name but it had cherry mx brown switches. I initially liked the type writer feel but just half an hour of using it I started experiencing wrist pain so it now lives in the attic atleast the one I have now doesn't break my wrist but I am still on the lookout for a keyboard that solves this. I've heard low profile keyboards are ideal for people like me. So I'm planning to buy keychron low profile keyboard. Hopefully I will like it and finally fix my abysmal typing speed
