So far every black person here has been fairly hairless and beardless. The black people here have roots in West Africa but there were also a few East Africans I've met. They have little body hair and don't grow proper beards either. Only seen one of them be able to grow a proper beard while the other dude has some pubic hair-tier facial hair. Are Central Africans hairier, like North Africans are? And perhaps South Africans too? Idk.depends on hair genes not every black person or even african is the same pheno/genotypically
yeah usually they dont have much hair but ik a west african dude whos 18 and has a full grown dad beard,it just depends on the persons hair genetics tbhSo far every black person here has been fairly hairless and beardless. That's true. My friend is blasian (half West African and half South East Asian). He can't grow a proper beard but his West African father has a terrorist-tier beard. His older brother also has good facial hair genetics, but he and his younger brother don't.yeah usually they dont have much hair but ik a west african dude whos 18 and has a full grown dad beard,it just depends on the persons hair genetics tbh
From my observations and personal experience Central Africans seem to be hairierSo far every black person here has been fairly hairless and beardless. I see. I've never met any Central Africans or South Africans. Only North Africans, West Africans and East Africans. From my observations and personal experience Central Africans seem to be hairier
I presume excess hair is from baka/pigmy admixture but don’t quote me on thatI see. I've never met any Central Africans or South Africans. Only North Africans, West Africans and East Africans.
I would have assumed perhaps some genetic admixture from hairier Africans (like North Africans) but I think that'd be wrong. I dunno much about genetics, to be honest.I presume excess hair is from baka/pigmy admixture but don’t quote me on that
Ive seen some Ghanian men with very hairy legs but nothing of the sort from the groups to the west of that country. I’d say hairyness gets more common in the Gulf of Guinea+Congo basin area from my somewhat limited observations.I see. I've never met any Central Africans or South Africans. You live there currently or did you mean originally?Cameroon
Originally, I moved to Amerika when I was a toddler but I’ve had some immersion in West & Central African diaspora communitiesYou live there currently or did you mean originally?
Interesting. I live in the Netherlands, most Africans here are North African (Moroccans). Others are West African (Caribbeans and Surinamese but with West African roots) and a couple of East African refugees (from Somalia and Eritrea).Originally, I moved to Amerika when I was a toddler but I’ve had some immersion in West & Central African diaspora communities
