Growing up in his teens he was

• Dating the hottest girl in the entire school
• Was the 'guy you didn't wasn't to mess with' in his year group and even the year above.
• Captain of the school football club, scored two last minute goals in regional finals - one from the halfway line.
• Fastest 100m regional record as a 14 year old.

You can imagine the isnane ego on this guy. He thought he was going to be the first curry England player. And ngl it was hard to see why not. I was always in his shadows. Always being referred to as X's little brother - no one even knew my fucking name. I was nowhere near his athleticism or NT. He was a bully and arrogant. But IQmogged him. I am grateful because I basically had protected status at school and in my hometown since he was like a local celebrity.

Fast forward 15 years later.

• 34 years old, divorced with a child he never sees.
• Bank account is -£2500 living with mother
• Low wagie. Left a stable job as a waiter and now doing freelance with shit pay and conditions (e.g. factory work)
• Scrolls tiktok everyday in bed smoking cigarettes all day.
• His teeth are worse than an 80 yo granny.

A part of me pities him. Another part says it's karma for his arrogance and ego.
