It's pointless because I wasn't the best at them. There was no point in me pursuing proper formal sports teams at uni when you won't be an Olympic athlete anyway.

All I did was played compulsory team sports in secondary school until year 9, and recreational football in my first year at uni.

Exactly, I was good at sports and it was fun but I wasn’t good enough to make it an important part of my life after school. And I don’t know a single person who was either, even the people who were way better than me and played for a bit in university. So who cares, focus your energy on something that will actually help you financially or bring you ongoing fulfillment

I used to play football at uni, just for fun, and mainly cos I didn't make the first or second 15 in rugby.

Football is fun, but it only gives status with really dumb girls.

I enjoyed it, I'm not skillfully or fast, but cos of my high IQ and strength I played CB and we did pretty well.

Problem was I'd get gassed by the last 10 mins, and some high skill, fast, skinny manlet would find a way to lose me and score, not keeping clean sheets is such an incel trait, imagine if these IRL gods couldn't keep clean sheets.

But they can, so they're intimidating. Imagine how even GOAT Messi must feel with them lined up against him...
