This plan is great, but I think that if there is more than 2 people you should just cripple or jump them briefly, chase them off, but don’t actually stop chasing them, get to a certain checkpoint, be it a street block, a park, etc, and then hide around and sneakily stalk them until one of them arrives home, either with their buddies or alone, wait for them to either settle down in one place like the couch or if you are patient enough, to actually leave the place for a while (or you can just memorize where they live and come back later or another day, that works too) and then check around their home (break in if you have to), find your bike, do a bit of vandalism if you want to, and then leave with your bike (it will feel like you just bought it, don’t ask me how I know this)
