MY birdcel skull and healthy skull side by side. Teeth extractions + DJS?

I’m going to fix this I have the money, I just need to know the best course of action. I’m thinking extractions from top and bottom teeth and braces to pull it all back, fixing the protrusion. Then DJS with ccw, advancement, and upper jaw impaction. My only concern is ppl say that extracting teeth is never good and will give u shit smile.

Where do you think the LeFort 1 cut is? It’s the lower maxilla that’s gonna need to advance. So you’re not gonna have a “vertical maxilla” anyway.

Do you know the side effects of extractions? The lack of bone/teeth support for your soft tissue, the obstruction of airway, etc.

You were given 32 teeth for a reason.

I understand. You’re getting extractions to make room for dental compensation to fix your incisor torque. You need maxillary expansion to make room, not extractions. You make room for the teeth, not take your perfectly fine teeth to make room.

@LooksOverAll what do you think my face would benefit most from? Implants? Bimax? Extractions? You seem to have a good knowledge of facial structures like mine. I have a recessed face like Malfoy lol but add bimaxillary protrusion to him as well

here’s me. And damn lefort 3 lololol. Lefort three would just bring everything forward I’d still have bimaxillary protrusion. The relationship between teeth position and nasal base position needs to be changed so that they are over reach other harmoniously. I’ll prob get implants.

Yeah, you're right. You need CCW bimax after extractions.

I can only talk about the aesthetics of your Face which heavily relys on soft tissue. You can dm me a pic of your side profile and I can give my input. I can say where your jaws and chin etc should be but I’m no surgeon so I can only give a rough estimate with which surgery you can achieve that.

Not sure what do you mean by vertical maxilla bu you can get a double jaw surgery with a CCW rotation without any extractions. Of course salvaging wisdom teeth might not be possible but premolars very much so.

On so i cannot talk about the requirement of teeth extractions. I know that bsso is partially also done to create more room for the teeth. It might be mandatory to first have atleast some space to make the cut in the first place tho. I’m just guessing here that’s up for the surgeon.


so you would defenitöy benefit from DJS.
your mandible is too short resulting in a low hyoid and bad Submental. Submental is most important for the side profile. Ontop of that you have puffy cheeks so lf1 also beneficial. The only issue is your forehead is basically straight so you are very limited in terms of advancement without looking uncanny. Straight forehead don’t go well with a lot of forward growth.

for a better submental and hyoid you might wanna consider chin wing as well.

however I don’t think you need a rotation in any form.
