I understand these feels. No one in my family has bought me a birthday cake since 2012. My mom would buy me a birthday cake every year from the bakery (written happy birthday alien on it with the icing and then the candles for the number of years) until she passed away. So I started buying my own birthday cake every year. I paid $10 CAD for a 750g cake last year. This year I don't want to over-indulge with the calories because I want to lose body fat. $5 CAD for a 375g cake this year. This was my cake that I bought for myself like a loser. lol.
