When I was 14.5 years old, I turned to a pediatrician because of my short stature. The doctor referred me for an X-ray of my hands (the X-ray results are attached, ChatGPT reported that my growth zones are open). As a result, the radiologist wrote in conclusion that my bone age corresponds to 12 years. This confused me, because, according to this conclusion, my bone age lags behind my actual age, which means logically, I grow slower than my peers.
I've often been told that I look younger than my age. What does this mean to me now that I'm almost 17?
