My cat just had a seizure

my new cat which i adopted about three weeks ago was sleeping beside me on the couch today when she started shaking. at first i thought of it to be a bad dream, so i didnt panic, but then she started doing weird noises with her nose, like she was struggling breathing.

this is when i tried waking her up, i lifted her head up which my other cat wouldve easily awoken from, but her head only fell back, as if she had passed out. i started to panic, thinking she had died right in front of me, but then i saw her breathing normally. i tried waking her up again, and this time she did actually wake up. she acted as if nothing had happened, just looked at me and went back to sleep.

i called my mom after this and she said she suspected it to be epilepsy. i really hope she wont be sick .
