My chemistry lab is so cooked

I had the first lab for my intro to chemistry course and the room has like 20-25 people in it. Most groups had 4 people but some had 3. I was in one of the groups that has 3 people and I get paired up with this gay dude that seems pretty clueless. Then I’m waiting for the other guy in the group to show up. 10 minutes. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. He doesn’t show up the entire time. So I was stuck doing the entire experiment in a group of 2 with this dude who doesn’t know what he’s doing. Also this cute girl I’ve seen all around is in the class but ofc I get fucked and put in the least capable group.
