Went from feeling amazing about how perfect and normal my chest looked, to now possibly even more unaesthetic than before. I am so angry. Words cannot describe the fury that I have because of this. Why do I even try.

I got NUSS for pectus excavatum. Really deep hole in my chest, got 2 bars to correct it, and now suddenly it's just going back to the way it was (this time even more asymmetrical) not even when I'm fully recovered.

wtff, did u contact the docs/surgeons that did the surgery for u, i would expect my money back or for them to redo the bars correctly? this is actually scary as fuck since i have pectus aswell, mine is less and less visible now since ive put on some muscle but, a couple years back i was considering this

I know my surgeon won't consider a revision because bar movements and developing asymmetry are somewhat common as I'm coming to find out. The surgery itself was $144k if I'm remembering correctly, so I don't know what a revision would look like.

Will they remove the bars already inside you to fix that again?

Also could the bars just give out and puncture your heart or sum

I have an appointment next Tuesday. Unfortunately it's not like a restaurant lol you can't just get your money back, but I could possibly get a revision surgery. Keep in mind though, my chest has already "been corrected", meaning now any changes I want to make are considered aesthetic only and will be 100% out of pocket, no insurance.

That's crazy what, did they tell you this was a possible side effect?

I'm scheduled to get my bars removed in 2028/2029, so they wouldn't remove them but probably just contour them. They haven't shifted yet or caused internal damage, as far as I'm aware. I can feel pressure on one side though. I think honestly they're just gonna tell me it's "normal" and send me on my way as if it's no big deal.

Only paid $5 if you can believe it. Insurance covered 99% of it. Whether any further changes will be covered, that I don't know.

No. I was never informed that it could be this bad. Slight asymmetry was expected in that area due to the fact that it was asymmetrical to begin with, but it has progressively gotten worse over the last few months. I can feel pressure in the area right now, and an odd internal sensation that I can't describe.

Most of the time insurance covers it, if you don't got that it's pretty much over for the average NPC, hospitals can also sue :feelsuhh:

No way it cost that much IMO. They likely just billed it and then got insurance to pay 20%, of what was billed.

Well your opinion is irrelevant and entirely invalid seeing as that's what was stated on the bill. Hope this helps.

If you read my comment, you would see where it said, they billed it. What's hard for you to comprehend?

Just because x entity bills y dollars doesn't mean that's the cost. Especially true in medical billing with insurance. If you had a brain capacity above 100 you would be aware of this. However, since you don't your completely unable to understand what a bill is or is not.

So your inability to comprehend the meaning of words is wide spread.

On the bright side, you will always have a bowl handy wherever you go.

Always the really corny and unfunny niggas who do this irrelevant stuff in threads that don't concern them. It's embarrassing for them because they think people actually find them funny when in reality it's just them laughing at their own forced jokes.

Have you been walking around with subhuman posture post-op or something?
No. I've never had bad posture. In fact the nurses complemented me on my posture last few times I went in. Been working out and following all the regimens they have me on as well.
