So first of all I didn't spend $144k. Second of all it was literally crushing my heart and lungs, it's the reason I had a spontaneous pneumothorax and leaking heart chamber. I didn't do it because I wanted to. And finally the 40-60k is just the surgery itself, it's not counting the prior tests, meetings, prep, recovery, meds, etc. which came after. Not to mention I got cryoablation done, so it was more expensive with that.
