My childhood friend didn't notice I'm 3 inches taller

I'm a weak 6'0 more like 5'11 at night. He's around 5'8. I've known this kid as long as I can remember. Yesterday I tried my 3 inch lifts for the first time. With the lifts I go up to 6'2. He didn't notice a thing. He just complimented my new shoes (Lifts). I told him the shoes were a gift from my father. I was taller than everyone I could see on the train. Went to the mall where I got heightmogged a decent amount of times, saw a guy that is at least 7ft there. No extra attention from girls. Lifts are extremely uncomfortable and make you walk funny. I still have pain in my feet from yesterday. Not worth it at all in my opinion, I would rather stay at my natural height. I concluded that 5'11 to 6'2 is not that big of a difference. after 5'10 it's all face. I will go back to wearing my normal shoes now.
