this. this. i’ve been telling everyone. people ask me how I’m so confidently atheist. Like that’s what keeps me alive, we only experience life once, then poof, we’re gone, just like every other animal. And that’s my next point. If God exists and is all powerful than why would he create animals the way he did. They exist to suffer, they don’t have “souls” so they don’t go to “heaven”, and they die in horrible miserable ways. They have to eat eachother to survive. If a God actually existed there would be no need for natural selection, he would just create the fully evolved version of the species and he could just make every species a herbivore so they don’t have to suffer. He made us and many other animals carnivores which proves he isn’t all loving which proves the christian god doesn’t exist.

Religion was simply a form to control people and for the people in power to stay in power without being questioned about it.

People they knew no better, so they followed the script they were given.

Constants advances in science and evolution were by far the biggest factor that led people to realize all the religion cope are just tales, thats why ofc, religion was always opposed to science, cause when you can prove to people the real reason why it’s raining, there is no longer a need for people to believe that it happened because a god was angry or intervening.
