my consult with sailer AMA

Told him I wanted to maximize my looks as much as possible. His plan was ccw bimax + genio + possibly implants. For bimax + genio (he approximated 14 mm total advancement). He said jaw angle implants and some sort of midface implant could benefit me aesthetically, because the face might look 'flat' after bimax. He also said the midface implant could give the impression of deeper set eyes. Implants would be decided during surgery because according to him you can never tell how the face would look after bimax. for implants he uses Lyophilized Cartilage which is just rib bone of a dead person lol.

Why does no one else but sailer use Lyophilized Cartilage? is this better than regular implants?

What do you guys think would ascend me the most according to these scans?

Implants placed underneath the eye orbits. bimax could make the face look flat according to him. This would counter that effect. Also it might improve the eye area and create the illusion of deeper set eyes. But he could only tell during surgery

Lyophilized cartilage is cartilage from a donor which ossifies (transforms into the patient's real bone tissue). It is supposedly perfect for the cheekbone augmentation but I'm honestly not sure if it's better or worse than silicon or peek implants. Sailer usually does multiple surgeries in one operation so it’s difficult to see accurate results of specific surgeries and I haven't seen many lyophilized cartilage implant results. Sailer is a good surgeon but he's overpriced and too fixated on the anteface look imo. If I were you I'd get my surgeries from raffaini for half the cost. Thoughts @Acromegaly_Chad

Afaik the cartilage can be used for subtle augmentations, so anything less than 5mm. That's fine for cheekbones (especially anterior projection for which there is no osteotomy and conventional implants look often uncanny) but usually not enough for jaw angles. I don't know how good it is for angularity but I imagine it's not perfect.
