There is no point in writing this story in the first place.


The best I could achieve would be to make you feel sad and hurt. People can only empathize with others by empathizing with themselves afterall.


But essentially, you are missing out. You are missing out big time.


Most of you are, like me, "youngsters". I am 19 and I suppose many of you are my age.


We are missing out boys. You need to destroy the idea of it ever getting better; for many of us, it won't.


Think of all those endless summers. You and other kids were running, playing together. Perhaps you went to the beach with your parents. Perhaps you traveled. All those happy memories...


Those summers weren't any longer than these ones, but they felt like they were never going to end. Now, times fly by. And you know why? Because nothing ever happens. Everything is the same.


So here we are; I can talk for myself, but I am sure many of you are in the same position.

Infinitely far from the happy days of our childhood, and infinitely far from those good times that are never actually gonna come.

It does get better if you let it. I'm nostalgic for when I was 18/19, but realistically speaking I'm a better and a more competent person now than I was back then.

I'll be turning 25 in a few months.

Sorry to hear that man. I was never really depressed or unhappy as a teen but I think overall life gets better as an adult as long as you do what makes you fulfilled and not what society expects you to do.

Back in hs, until the last year, I was lonely but not alone.

I had friends, hell even a few female friends, but we only talked in school. They never invited me anywhere, they never cared about me except while we were forced to be together.

Now, in uni, I cut off my only friend left who goes to the same uni and went to the same hs with me.

I have NOBODY. Loneliness hurts man. Ateast I have my younger brother and our dog

Ik it's corny but there are people out there who are similar to you and resonate with your energy.

The hard part is finding them but they're out there.

Nothing wrong with venting. I vented recently to a friend and I felt better.

It's unhealthy to keep everything bottled up and over-pressurized.

That’s crazy we have the same life . I’m in uni for 2 months still don’t have real friends I meet my best friend from middle school but where not friends as before . Atleast I have my brother like you too

I mean this is probably a common occurrence. Best try to keep yourself satisfied cause youre not gonna feel better if you become an anti-thesis of yourself. Eg social with normies
