My cortisol was constantly spiked as a kid

I remember in 6th grade, i hadnt hit my growth spurt yet and looked up to 90% of the people in my grade. Pretty much all the girls were taller than me and most of the guys were taller than me. I remember getting cortisol spiked everyday because i couldnt even fathom how tall some people were compared to me. It felt like i was a foot shorter than a decent amount of people. This lead me to being scared of a lot of people. Thankfully I hit a growth spurt but my childhood was so anxiety inducing. It probably lowered my life expectancy due to the stress. I genuinely couldnt look girls in the eye till 9th grade because i was so short. There are certain girls id have no issue with now who scared the shit out of me back then due to our height difference.

hapa had a late growth spurt and was insecure talking to taller foids, but now that hes a 5’10 giant he has no trouble talking to them
